Dr. Bincy Mathai
Dr. Bincy Mathai is a 2017 graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, located in southern California, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, she moved back to her home state of Maryland where she took her time finding the ideal professional environment for her excellent skills.She joined the Teitler Family Dental Care team in December 2019, and has been providing compassionate and comprehensive dental care to its patients ever since
Dr. Mathai has had a passion for dentistry since her childhood. She distinctly remembers telling her childhood best friend at the age of 7 that she would be a dentist and go to Loma iLinda University. During her time in dental school Dr. Mathai learned the importance of dental health as it relates to overall health and that dentistry was much more than just having a nice smile. She has expanded her knowledge by completing many hours of continuing education and is certified in Invisalign, botox, and implant placement. Her scope of practice includes cosmetic and restorative dentistry, root canal therapy and oral surgery. Dr. Mathai works with patients to help them achieve and maintain a healthy and confident smile. She has helped many individuals overcome their fear of dental visits, and hopes to build an environment that has people looking forward to their next visit.
In her free time, Dr. Mathai enjoys taking her dog out on walks, spending time with family and friends, trying out new restaurants, and volunteering at her home church.
Dr. Bianca Armand
Dr. Bianca Armand, DMD is a compassionate, highly skilled dentist who is dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in a supportive and welcoming environment. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, an Ivy League institution renowned for its clinical excellence and advanced dental education.
During her training at Penn Dental Medicine, Dr. Armand distinguished herself through her strong clinical abilities and dedication to patient care. She had the unique privilege of working closely and hands-on with the Director of the Endodontic Department, an opportunity not commonly afforded to dental students, allowing her to develop advanced skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and complex endodontic care. Her clinical excellence and precision ultimately led to her being voted Student with the Best Clinical Skills by her graduating class.
In addition, Dr. Armand spent one day each week in Penn’s Special Care Dentistry Department, a highly specialized and unique program dedicated to treating patients with physical, intellectual, and medical disabilities. In this setting, she provided comprehensive dental care to individuals from all backgrounds and with varying levels of need. Dr. Armand thrived in this environment and became known for her patience, empathy, and ability to connect with patients who required extra care and understanding. Her work was consistently recognized and appreciated by both patients and faculty alike, reflecting her natural ability to treat every individual with dignity, respect, and compassion.
Before dental school, Dr. Armand worked in the dental field both in Germany, where she was born and raised, and in the United States, giving her a broad international perspective on patient care and clinical practice. Her early experience as a dental assistant further strengthened her hands-on skills and team-oriented approach.
Dr. Armand joined Teitler Family Dental in June 2025 and has enjoyed providing exceptional, patient-centered dental care to the community. Dr. Armand has a strong clinical foundation in restorative dentistry and comprehensive treatment planning. She is known for her calm demeanor, gentle touch, and attention to detail, and she is particularly attuned to patients who experience dental anxiety. Her approach to dentistry is rooted in trust, communication, and individualized care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Armand is a devoted mother of two and enjoys baking, staying active, and spending quality time with her family. She values building long-term relationships with her patients and believes in treating every patient with the same care, empathy, and respect she would want for her own family.
Judy Teitler
Our office manager, Judy Teitler, has worked in various capacities in the dental field for more than 35 years. She became a Certified Dental Assistant and was X-Ray certified by the state of Maryland at the age of 18. Since then she has worked in both the clinical and administrative sides of several private dental practices. Since our inception in 2009, Judy has become the spiritual leader of Teitler Family Dental Care. She is admired by our staff and does whatever it takes to ensure our practice runs smoothly and that patients leave here happily looking forward to their next visit.
Outside of the office Judy fences competitively and enjoys traveling, going to concerts, hiking and watching sports with her family and friends. She believes in living life to its fullest potential and not letting the little things bring you down.
Dr. Michael Teitler
For more than 45 years Dr. Michael Teitler has provided high quality, state-of-the-art dental care to patients in the District of Columbia and its Maryland suburbs. Earning a Bachelor of Science from Hofstra University on Long Island and graduating cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry, Dr. Teitler began clinical practice in Washington, DC, and progressed to practices in Gaithersburg, Germantown and now Woodbine, Maryland.
He is a native New Yorker and never had any intention of leaving The Big Apple until he moved here at the tender age of 22 to attend Georgetown, whereupon he fell in love with the area and decided to stay. A father to three beautiful daughters and two gorgeous grandchildren, Dr. Teitler enjoys spending time with his family, making furniture in his home woodshop, gazing at the stars, playing with his dog and riding motorcycles.
After founding Teitler Family Dental Care in 2009, Dr. Teitler continued to provide high-quality state-of-the-art dental care to his new Woodbine family of patients. In 2022, after 45 years at the chair, he made the decision to step away and focus solely on the practice’s administration. He spends his days mentoring his younger associate dentists and doing whatever it takes to ensure that the practice runs smoothly and continues to uphold our reputation as a trusted place to take excellent care of you and your family’s oral health.
