Dr. Bincy Mathai

Dr Bincy Mathai

Dr. Bincy Mathai is a 2017 graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, located in southern California, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation, she moved back to her home state of Maryland where she took her time finding the ideal professional environment for her excellent skills.She joined the Teitler Family Dental Care team in December 2019, and has been providing compassionate and comprehensive dental care to its patients ever since 

Dr. Mathai has had a passion for dentistry since her childhood. She distinctly remembers telling her childhood best friend at the age of 7 that she would be a dentist and go to Loma iLinda University. During her time in dental school Dr. Mathai learned the importance of dental health as it relates to overall health and that dentistry was much more than just having a nice smile. She has expanded her knowledge by completing many hours of continuing education and is certified in Invisalign, botox, and implant placement. Her scope of practice includes cosmetic and restorative dentistry, root canal therapy and oral surgery. Dr. Mathai works with patients to help them achieve and maintain a healthy and confident smile. She has helped many individuals overcome their fear of dental visits, and hopes to build an environment that has people looking forward to their next visit. 

In her free time, Dr. Mathai enjoys taking her dog out on walks, spending time with family and friends, trying out new restaurants, and volunteering at her home church. 

Dr. Marketa Pearson

Dr Marketa Pearson

Dr. Marketa Pearson grew up in Howard County, Maryland, and pursued her undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University, where she earned degrees in Immunology and Infectious Disease, Toxicology, and a minor in Chemistry. She continued her academic journey by enrolling in a graduate program in Chemical Biology at the Scripps Research Institute in San Diego, CA. During her time at Scripps, Dr. Marketa’s interest in dentistry was sparked when she volunteered as a dental assistant at a free dental clinic in San Diego. She witnessed firsthand the significant impact that access to dental care, effective communication, and understanding of dental phobia has on addressing patient needs.

Inspired by this experience, she volunteered with the US Navy aboard the USNS Comfort. For this effort, Dr. Marketa was awarded a certificate of international volunteer service by the American Dental Association (ADA) as well as a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition in 2017.

Driven by her newfound passion for dentistry, Dr. Marketa finished her Masters in Chemical Biology, and pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the esteemed University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She furthered her training by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at the Waimanalo Health Center in Hawaii, where she honed her skills in advanced dental techniques and patient-centered care.

Dr. Marketa joined Teitler Family Dental in 2021, where she has enjoyed providing exceptional dental care to the community. She is known for her gentle and patient-centered approach, particularly excelling in working with individuals with dental anxiety as well as children. She understands the importance of creating a calm and supportive environment to ensure every patient feels comfortable during their visit. As an artist in aesthetic dentistry, she specializes in restoring dental function, while also creating beautiful and natural-looking results.

In her free time, Dr. Marketa enjoys exploring local restaurants, scuba diving, and learning new languages. She cherishes spending quality time with her family, especially with her 3-month-old son, who brings joy and inspiration to her life.

Dr. Bryana Williams

Dr. Bryana Williams

Dr. Bryana Williams was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a BS in Exercise Physiology and the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Between her undergraduate graduation and entry into dental school, she joined the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps and completed community service projects throughout the United States.

After graduation from dental school, Dr. Williams completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the Lutheran Medical Center in Atlanta, GA, where, among other educational experiences, she had the opportunity to work in community health care providing care to the underserved and HIV/AIDS populations. After her residency, Dr. Williams practiced for several years in North Carolina and then moved to Maryland where she continued to practice high-quality dentistry for several more years until she found her ideal dental home at Teitler Family Dental Care.

She enjoys learning about and staying current with all facets of dentistry through continuing education courses and reading about all things dental. She has a strong interest in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and is proficient in all phases of general dentistry. Dr. Williams loves meeting new people and providing excellent oral health care to the community.

In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, dancing, drawing, game nights, spending time with her family, friends, and her sweet dog, Romi.

Dr. Michael Teitler

Dr. Michael Teitler

For more than 45 years Dr. Michael Teitler has provided high quality, state-of-the-art dental care to patients in the District of Columbia and its Maryland suburbs. Earning a Bachelor of Science from Hofstra University on Long Island and graduating cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry, Dr. Teitler began clinical practice in Washington, DC, and progressed to practices in Gaithersburg, Germantown and now Woodbine, Maryland. He is a native New Yorker and never had any intention of leaving The Big Apple until he moved here at the tender age of 22 to attend Georgetown, whereupon he fell in love with the area and decided to stay. A father to three beautiful daughters and two gorgeous grandchildren, Dr. Teitler enjoys spending time with his family, making furniture in his home woodshop, gazing at the stars, playing with his dog and riding motorcycles. In 2022 Dr. Teitler elected to step away from the dental chair and now comes in three to four days a week to mentor his younger associates and take care of the administrative work necessary to keep the practice running as smoothly as possible.
